Andrea joins Novo to lead its Global Research department, having spent nearly two decades at German pharmaceutical firm Bayer. Her final role at Bayer was Global Head of Research & Early Development, Precision Medicine, where she helped build Bayer’ s portfolio across precision cardiovascular and nephrology. Commenting on her new position, which will focus on drug discovery, Andrea says,“ The opportunity is about more than building a strong research pipeline.
