in 2020, Başakşehir Çam and Sakura City Hospital is Türkiye’ s thirdlargest hospital. t is also one of the world’ s largest seismically isolated buildings with 2,068 seismic isolators installed in its main hospital building to protect against earthquake damage. Developed as part of Türkiye’ s City Hospital programme and heavily funded by Japanese investment, it houses eight specialist hospitals dedicated to areas including oncology, cardiovascular care, neurology, women’ s health and paediatrics. The facility is designed to integrate cutting-edge medical technology with high-capacity patient care.
