T he foundation of Monte Tabor Centro Ítalo Brasileiro de Promoção Sanitária , Bahia state , in the 70 ’ s revolutionized local medicine . Since then , the achievements have not stopped . In 1980 , the group founded the Pathology and Toxicology Laboratory Clinic ; in 1985 , the group established an outpatient clinic with a diagnostic center ; and in the early 1990s , the group inaugurated Hospital São Rafael .
San Rafael Hospital is a benchmark in Salvador , working in different areas of medicine with specialized medical staff .
“ We maintain 23 medical residency programs , leadership and other training programs , as a partnership between our HR and other university programs ,” explains Alfredo Martini , Director General of the Hospital São Rafael .
