In the Dialysis Unit , which opened in September 2013 , the number of beds for patients with chronic renal failure was expanded from 14 to 22 . Patient monitoring is done in real time via dialysis machines connected to computers . The unit also has four Hemodiafiltration machines – modern technology for the treatment of renal failure . No other hospital in the state currently offers this technology .
To meet the goals of its 2013-2016 Strategic Plan , the Moinhos de Vento Hospital ’ s Department of Health Services developed projects for qualifying nursing services , such as preparation for the Magnet Recognition Program . This certification system is based
